Please order by record label, catalogue number & artist (for records) or author & title (for books).  I will then be able to confirm availability of the items you have selected and will contact you to complete the transaction.  This may take a day or two, so please be patient.

PRICES

Prices are usually not indicated for individual items, but the vast majority of items listed on this site are priced between $10 and $20 each. Obviously there are a significant number of exceptions, such as rarer items or those in exceptionally fine condition. Many listed items that are relatively common, in less than excellent condition, or with some defects, are less than $10 -- but the $10 to $20 range will apply to the majority of items. I will provide prices when confirming availability. All prices (including shipping) are in US$.

It is my intention to add set prices to all items listed --- eventually! But with over 20,000 items listed on this site it is a massive job to do this, so it may not happen for a while yet. I simply don't have the amount of time to spare required, so for now you will have to ask. However, I think my prices are very reasonable and due to the large number of items listed you can put together a batch of records to make up a more worthwhile parcel in order to save on postage.

PAYMENT

I accept PayPal, cash by letter (at your risk), or cashier’s checks made out in Australian currency and payable on any Australian bank. I do not accept other checks or money orders unless you wish to add an additional amount to cover bank charges at this end. No personal checks. I do not have fax or credit card facilities. Please contact me if you have any questions about payment methods.

PACKING

I have over 20 years experience shipping fragile items internationally and you can rest assured that your items will be packed carefully and professionally so as to minimise any risk of damage in transit. My packing is more than adequate and accordingly I don’t usually recommend insurance, but this can be arranged if you wish.

I ship airmail unless otherwise requested. Surface mail is available (except to Asia) but it is not that much cheaper and can take several months to arrive, depending on what part of the world you reside in. Normal international mail is the preferred option. DHL, FedEx, etc. are available but the cost is very high and I don’t recommend these options unless you are wealthy enough not to care about the cost of shipping.

SHIPPING COSTS

The following details specify standard airmail shipping costs for most items listed on this site. Rates for books, sheet music and other similar items depend on the size and weight of the package so no standard charges can be quoted. Large or heavy books or 12" 78s will be more costly to ship due to weight and/or size.

NOTE that the standard shipping costs indicated below apply only to small numbers of records. It’s much more economic to ship larger quantities of records in the same parcel as the the high initial cost of shipping (for one or two items) is due to the weight of the box or parcel and the packing materials which have to be used in order to reduce the risk of damage in transit. Generally speaking, once the initial shipping cost is covered several additional items can be included in the same package for only a small additional amount of postage. I strongly suggest that you order more than one or two items if possible. I will be happy to advise on further items to make up a more economical parcel if you wish.

Please note that shipping costs are largely outside my control as these charges are set by the post office. I can only reduce the cost of shipping if I also reduce the quality of quantity of packaging and if sufficient packing is not used this may place your item as risk. You get the kind of packing you pay for.

NOTE that the above rates are for small quantities of discs. If you make a larger order I will be able to pack in such a way that shipping costs per item can be very significantly reduced. I will be pleased to assist you with locating further items in order to make up a more economic shipment at your request. Please ask for details.
